Akkineni Venkat is a famous producer of Telugu films in the Tollywood industry. He is the son of the renowned actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. His father established Annapurna Studios in his mother’s name Akkineni Annapurna in 1975.

The Studios is based in Hyderabad and mainly is in the business of production and distribution of Telugu films and providing various production facilities. He became the manager of Annapurna Studios in 1978 and worked hard to turn it into one of the finest studios in the country.

His younger brother Akkineni Nagarjuna became the Chairman of the Studios after their father died in 2014.
