She is an Indian Film Actress who is well known for her works in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Kannada as well as Bollywood film industry.

She graduated in English literature and after completion of her degree, she participated in a workshop on theatre in Mumbai.
Kamalinee made her Bollywood debut in Phir Milenge in 2004, a movie which was based on the subject of AIDS. The movie didn’t do well and she also went unnoticed, but she gained recognition through the multiple-award winner Telugu Film Anand which got released in the same year.
After receiving accolades for her representation of a strong-willed, liberal and a new aged woman in Anand, her next film was Meenakshi which relea
