What are your qualifications?

I went to school in Atlanta, Georgia.

I studied Information Technology and moved back to Nigeria in 2004. That is the basic qualification that got me started on the job.

In the middle of it, I earned a master’s degree in Marketing. I also did some courses at Harvard Business School, London Business School and INSEAD. I did a lot of professional courses just to stay abreast of changes in marketing.

Later, I realised that what they taught us in school was not what was being done in Nigeria. As a result, I began to look for opportunities to move over. In 2006 or 2007, the opportunity presented itself and I crossed over to work as the Amstel Malta Brand Manager at Nigerian Breweries Plc.

How did you make the switch
